Norfolk

Located at the natural harbor of the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay, Norfolk is one of the seven cities of the Hampton Roads Metropolitan area.

This historic waterfront city is an urban, financial and cultural center of the region. The city is bordered with multiple bodies of water and many miles of riverfront and bayfront property including the beaches on the Chesapeake Bay.

Norfolk is known for its long history as a strategic military transportation point. It is home of the largest naval base in the world, the Naval Station Norfolk.

Norfolk boasts beautiful historic neighborhoods with Victorian flair like none other. It’s also known for its cultural activities and fantastic museums like the Chrysler Center and the Macarthur Memorial. The city has a festive and very active Waterside & Bay Park which hold some of the most interesting events throughout the year. The annual Tall Ships Festival is amazing to witness and the beautiful Virginia spring bring the mesmerizing azalea festival yearly.
